Couple wanted for shooting at, carjacking man near Midtown, police say

Memphis Police are looking for a man and a woman they said opened fire on a man before stealing his car on Wednesday.

Police said the couple walked up to the man while he was sitting in his car in the 1300 block of Mosby Avenue.

Memphis Police say this man fired shots at another man and stole his 2019 Nissan Altima on Mosby Avenue.

They forced the man out of his 2019 Nissan Altima, police said.

As he took off running from the couple, the suspects began shooting at him before taking off in his car, according to police. The man was not injured. Police said they found the car and the couple near the Watkins Express gas station on North Watkins St., but they took off again and were not taken into custody.

Memphis Police are looking for this woman who they say was involved in shooting at and carjacking a man on Mosby Avenue.
